Our History

We have spent since the beginning of 2007 on a very rapid learning curve about secondary education. It is daunting how much there is to absorb!

Our biggest surprise (and we are more guilty of this than most) is the staggering misconception about the existing schools.

They have inspired head teachers, well disciplined classes and are in great locations. There is clearly room for improvement in results but they are improving, results for Hurlingham and Chelsea for example are expected to rise from 25% A*-C gcse last year to 59% this year!

With our help we think we can make a dramatic difference to these schools.

We do not feel simply closing down schools is an option. That resource is then lost from the community for ever. Building new schools seems exciting but the timeframes and logistics put it out of the picture for our children’s secondary education.

That’s were we are at the moment. It will no doubt change as we learn more.

If you want more details, all the meetings we have had are summarised below.
